Today's work focused primarily on the Poster Design, since the groundwork for the Dashboard is mostly complete at this stage.
My idea was to model our poster after the Dashboard, to show viewers our project in an interesting way while maintaining "brand" recognition. We'd adapt some of the UI Elements to present different information. Color presented a bit of a challenge, since we wanted to represent the colors used in the Dashboard, but some of those colors didn't provide good enough text contrast and conflicted with the design. In addition, the layout needs some work, since we want to inform viewers about what our project is and how we solved the problem as quickly as possible, to save ourselves time and energy in explanations.

One concern Micheal brought up was that we didn't know what information needed to be on the poster, as well as a lack of knowledge on fundamental poster design. We'll look into these topics and return when we've done our research. So far, however, progress looks good!
However, we are also concerning ourselves with the May 19th deadline on the Abstract and Video for the Capstone guests. We'll hopefully get some time to discuss this topic with the team.
